Bristol Woods (Kenosha County):
Take I-94 South to Hwy C. Exit at Hwy C and head
west. Turn South on MB. The park will be on the West (right) side (approx. ½
miles).
Bushnell Park
(Burlington area):
From Kenosha,
head west on Hwy 142. It will be on the East (left) side of the Road. (If you
hit Hwy 11 you have gone too far.) From Racine, take Hwy 11 west until you hit
Hwy 142. Then turn South (left). Approximately ¼ mile.
Carthage Collage (Kenosha):
Located on Alford Park Dr. (Hwy 32) on the north
side of Kenosha. Park in Lot on the North end of stadium.
Des Plaines River Trail (Russell):
The Des Plaines River Trail starts on Russell Road, south of Kenosha on the
Wisconsin – Illinois state line. Take Highway 31(Green Bay Road) south to
Russell Road and turn right (west) on Russell. The first intersection is
Kilborne. Continue west another mile or so to the Des Plaines River Trail on the
south (left) side of the road. From I-94, drive south to the Russell Road exit.
Drive east (left) on Russell about one mile until you reach the trail on the
right side of the road. There are Des Plaines River Trail signs visible from
both directions. Check out the
Lake County Forest Preserve web site for information.
Gifford
School (Franksville):
Located east of
I-94 on Hwy K (Northwestern Avenue) in Franksville, WI. If coming from the
Interstate, take Hwy K exit & go east.
Hawthorne
Antiques (Kenosha):
Located at 7427
– 156th Avenue, Bristol. Go west on Hwy 50 past I94. It’s a few
miles down on the North (right) side.
Lockwood Park (Racine):
From Washington Rd./Hwy 20. Take Ohio St. (22nd
Ave. in Kenosha) and turn north. Go one block past Kenzie Ave. Turn right
(east) on Graceland Ave. and park in the lot.
Monument Square
(Racine):
Main and
6th Streets) in downtown Racine, WI. Parking in downtown is metered.
Long-term parking is available in the garage on Lake Avenue, at the Shoop
parking ramp at Main and State Streets, and at the garage at Main and 7th
Streets. Free on-street parking is available on Main Street to the north or
south of Monument Square.
Petrifying Springs (PETs)(Kenosha):
From Hwy 31 take Hwy JR east. (First road to
right north of Hwy E.) Take JR east to the parking lot just east of the
entrance to Petrifying Springs Park. Parking lot on the north side of road,
across from the cross-country course.
Prairie Springs Park (Pleasant Prairie):
Terwall
Terrace is off of Hwy 165 between I-94 and Hwy 31 (Green Bay Road). The
riders meet in the east end of the softball field parking lot on Terwall Terrace in Prairie
Springs Park.
